Praying for Peace in the Holy Land

Coverage of the conflict in the Holy Land is as plentiful as it is heartbreaking.  The impact of the escalating conflict is being felt all over the world.  As we watch from afar many are asking what can we do?

  • Pope Francis invites all to PRAY

During his Wednesday Audience last week, Pope Francis called for a day of fasting, penance and prayer for peace in the world on Friday, October 27. The Pope invites men and women of every Christian denomination, other religions, those committed to peace to participate in any way they feel is appropriate. There will be an hour of prayer starting at 6 p.m. Rome time in St. Peter’s and local churches are invited to organize similar initiatives.

  • Stay INFORMED

Keep up-to-date on what is happening by listening to and reading information from reputable media outlets.

  • Consider making a DONATION

Organizations like the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) have partners on the ground in Israel and Palestine that are asking for assistance to help those in need of food, medical attention, and other necessities.  In recent days the CNEWA also provided the following links as resources:
