LIFPA Don Bosco Halifax Seeking Host Families

Did you know there’s an international French language school in Halifax? LIFPA Don Bosco Halifax opened in September 2024 and is currently seeking host families for international students coming to Halifax to study in September 2025.

LIFPA  is connected to an international school system based in France and founded by the Salesians, a Catholic religious congregation, officially known as the Society of Saint Frances de Sales and founded by Don Bosco in 1859.  The school welcomes students of different nationalities for grade levels primary to 12. The curriculum is based on the National Education of France and is taught in French. Many of the students are from France who enroll in the school to experience studying in a different culture. Being housed in host homes is an important way that students can be immersed in the culture.
