Youth and Young Adult Ministry
The Archdiocese of Halifax–Yarmouth is excited to announce a pilgrimage to World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea! From July 27–August 9, 2027, young adults from across the Archdiocese will journey to South Korea to encounter Christ, experience the universal Church, and celebrate their faith alongside pilgrims from around the world. The pilgrimage will begin with several days immersed in the life of a Korean host diocese, where pilgrims will experience the hospitality, culture, and the faith of the local Church. From there, the group will travel to Seoul to join hundreds of thousands of young Catholics from over 100 countries for six days of prayer, catechesis, and celebration with Pope Leo XIV.
The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth is excited to announce the launch of our Youth Showcase: Creative Reflections, with the chance to win a $200 gift card! We are asking for youth ages 19 and under to help us answer the question “How has our faith community helped us through stress, pressure, loss, or difficult moments?”, using an original created work. Answers can range from artwork, poetry, written testimonies, music, and more! We invite youth to reflect on the role that their faith community has played in their lives.
At Steubenville Atlantic this past weekend over 700 youth experienced how worthy they are of Christ’s love and that choosing a life with Christ is worth it! Thank you to everyone who prayed for, supported, and invested in these youth and their youth leaders.

We are excited to share that Steubenville Atlantic 2026 is completely SOLD OUT, with more than 700 participants registered. This is our largest conference since 2009!
Because the conference has reached full capacity, we are unable to offer a "Come and See" option this year. Conference sessions and programming are not open to the public and are limited to registered participants, volunteers, clergy, and conference personnel.
